11/21/24: Updating the Add to Cadence Popup
We've enhanced the Add to Cadence popup to make adding constituents to cadences from their profiles easier and more organized! You'll now see your organization's cadence categories on the left-hand side of the popup, with cadences associated with that category on the right. Need to view everything at once? Just click All Cadences in the bottom left to see a complete list of cadences, regardless of category.
This updated design keeps your workflow efficient and your available cadences easy to navigate. Ready to give it a try? Head to a constituent profile and experience the streamlined process for yourself! 11/21/24: Adding Flexibility to Task Calendar Prompts
We've made it easier to manage how Signal tasks are added to your calendar! Thanks to a new toggle in the Add Task popup, you can now decide whether the prompt to add the task to your calendar appears after creating tasks. The toggle also appears when editing existing tasks!
This update gives you more flexibility and control over your workflow. Turn the Add the Calendar toggle on to receive calendar prompts for each new task, or turn it off to skip the prompt and create tasks uninterrupted. Your preference will save automatically, so future tasks follow your chosen setting!

11/19/24: Introducing New Recommended Actions
We’ve added two new categories to your Signal Home Screen’s Recommended Actions, designed to keep your portfolio coverage strong and proactive.
Here’s what you’ll find:
- Unlogged Contact Reports: See assigned constituents with meetings scheduled in the last 45 days that have no contact report (interaction) logged afterward. Details like the scheduled meeting date are included, making it easy to log interactions and stay on top of your follow-ups.
- Top-Rated DPS Prospects Without Recent Interactions: Lists your high-potential donors (Donor Potential Score of 70+) who haven’t had an interaction in the last 6 months. You can even customize this timeframe to match your outreach strategy!
These actionable insights take the guesswork out of prioritizing your outreach efforts. Use them to stay ahead and ensure no meaningful connection slips through the cracks!
11/19/24: Taking Outreach Action Directly from a Task
We’ve made it even easier to act on your assigned tasks in Signal! Now, you can take direct outreach actions right from your Tasks tab, without needing to navigate to a separate page.
Here’s how:
- In the Your Tasks table’s Action Type column, Email, Phone, and Research actions appear as hyperlinks.
- Click to open an email composer, dial pad, or Add Pinned Comment form.
- After completing either an Email or Phone task, an interaction form will appear with some fields pre-populated, so you can seamlessly log your outreach details!
This streamlined experience keeps your outreach efforts efficient and your focus where it matters most–engaging with constituents!
11/19/24: Viewing All Constituents in a Cadence
Keeping track of which constituents are in a cadence just got easier! With the new View All Active page, accessible in an open cadence, you can see:
- Your Constituents: A detailed table showing your active constituents in the open cadence.
- All Constituents: A broader table displaying all active constituents in the open cadence across your organization. Use the search bar at the top of the table to find a specific constituent!
Both tables include additional step details and action options. This enhancement provides you clarity and control, helping you manage your outreach effectively!
11/18/24: Using Dynamic Email Fields
We’re excited to share a recent upgrade to Signal Email: dynamic email fields! These fields let you personalize your emails effortlessly by automatically adding specific constituent details–just like mail merge, but for your in-app outreach efforts!
Here’s what’s new:
- Dynamic Fields Button: Use the email composer’s toolbar to easily add fields like First Name, Phone Number, or even Your Name.
- Manual Entry: Type {{ (double-curly brackets) directly into your email to pull up the same field options without missing a beat.
But that’s not all! If a field’s data isn’t available (e.g., no phone number for a constituent), Signal will prompt you to review or remove the unsupported field. Want to include these in your email templates? Go for it–dynamic fields are available in your Email Template Library, too!

11/18/24: Filtering Your Tasks
Keeping your tasks organized has never been easier with our new filtering options in Signal Collaborative Tasks. In your Tasks tab, you can now:
- Refine by Action Type: Focus on tasks matching specific action types, like Call, Email, or Research in just a few clicks.
- Filter by Creator/Assignee: Quickly narrow down to tasks created by or assigned to specific users.
- Focus on Cadence-Linked Tasks: Drill into tasks tied to a cadence, or view only standalone ones.
- Sort Your Tasks: Click any table header in your task tables to change the sorting order based on that column! For instance, click Task Name to see all of your tasks organized alphabetically by name.
To make the filtering experience even smoother, we’ve added a handy X Clear Filters button–reset everything with one click! These filters are also available on constituent profile Tasks tabs, giving you more opportunity to organize and narrow down tasks no matter where you’re working.
Take control of your Collaborative Tasks workflow, and use these new filters to find what you need faster than ever!
11/18/24: Logging Signal Outreach Interactions
We know how important it is to log interactions for your prospect outreach, so we’re making the process easier than ever with Quick Interactions in Signal!
Here’s how this feature works:
- After sending an email or completing a call, an Add Interaction form will automatically appear.
- Certain fields like Date, Solicitor, Summary, and Description are pre-filled based on your outreach details, saving you time.
- Further-tailor the pre-populated fields, and fill in additional fields as needed before saving the interaction!
Whether you’re working in the Cadences tab, Tasks tab, or a constituent profile, Quick Interactions make it easy to log your outreach efforts without skipping a beat.
11/18/24: Enhancing Signal Phone Outreach
We’ve added two updates to make your Signal Phone outreach even more efficient:
- Call Notes: Type notes during your call to stay on track or jot down key takeaways. These notes will automatically populate in the Description field of an interaction form that appears after the call ends.
- Call Timer: Keep tabs on how long you’ve been speaking with our new timer, visible even when the dial pad is minimized.
Together, these enhancements help you stay focused and on track during every prospect conversation!
