Dictating Interactions on Your iOS App

We want to save you time while you're on the road, which is why we've included built-in voice dictation for meetings found within your app's Trips & Meetings tab!

To access this feature, open your EverTrue app, click the three-bar menu icon in the upper-left corner, and select Trips & Meetings.

Open the trip to which you would like to add a dictation and click the name of the relevant meeting. You will find a blue and white microphone icon next to the name of a constituent under Attendees. Click the icon to immediately start the recording function and begin dictating the details you'd like to include. To get the best accuracy from this feature, make sure to speak clearly and not too quickly!

To finish, you will click the blue stop button found just above the keyboard.

Please note that while the microphone icon will appear within a meeting found in your Trips & Meetings tab, it does not appear in the standard mobile interaction (if your institution is writing interactions in EverTrue) or comment form. For these forms, you can still use the dictation button that is native to the iPhone keyboard. This button is the microphone icon directly below your keyboard's return button

For example, if you click the plus sign in the upper-right corner of a constituent profile and select Add Interaction, you can access your microphone icon by tapping into a portion of the interaction form that is in need of information.

Please note that Apple places limits on the number of dictation "calls" a user can perform. This limit is 1,000 calls in an hour, with each call being a maximum of 1 minute in length (from the start of dictation to the end). If you begin to dictate and press the stop button, this is considered a call.
