Reviewing Facebook Page Data and Unmatched Engagers

EverTrue’s Facebook tab gives you page-level insight into how your organization’s content is performing and who’s engaging with it. The tab’s Pages table helps you understand your match rates, find unmatched engagers, and quickly address disconnected Facebook pages.

Below, we will walk through how to view Facebook page statistics, identify disconnected pages, and prioritize and match unmatched engagers. Let’s take a look!

Viewing Facebook Page Statistics

Step 1. Review Page Engagement and Match Data

When you open the Facebook tab, you will land on the Pages table by default. This table lists your organization’s connected Facebook pages alongside engagement and match data for each page:

  • Facebook Page Name
  • Unmatched Engagers
  • Matched Constituents
  • Match Rates
  • Matched Engagements
  • Status

Step 2. Adjust Page Table Sorting

By default, pages are sorted alphabetically by Facebook Page Name. Use the dropdown and arrows at the top-right corner of the table to change how pages are sorted. You can sort by:

  • Facebook Page Name
  • Unmatched Engagers
  • Matched Constituents
  • Matched Engagements

Step 3. Check Page Connection Status

Look at the table’s Status column to see if a page is connected:

  • A green checkmark indicates the page is connected
  • A yellow warning icon means the page is disconnected

Take a look at our reauthorization instructions to reconnect a page.

💡 Note: If you are an EverTrue Owner, you will also see a yellow warning icon next to the Facebook tab in the navigation bar to help you quickly identify that your organization has a disconnected page.

Identifying Top Unmatched Engagers

Use the Pages table to surface your top unmatched Facebook engagers and prioritize matching based on recency and level of engagement. These are people who are actively interacting with your organization’s content, but haven’t yet been matched to a record in your database.

Step 1. Open the List of Unmatched Engagers

To identify and match these unmatched engagers, click the hyperlinked number in the table’s Unmatched Engagers column for the page you want to review.

Step 2. Filter and Sort the List

A new table listing the page’s unmatched engagers appears. This table includes the following columns:

  • Unmatched Engager Name
  • Recent Engagement
  • Reactions
  • Comments
  • Match to Constituent

Click the table’s date-range filter to view engagement activity within various timeframes. You can also use the dropdown and arrows in the top-right corner to sort engagers by Recent Engagement, Reactions, or Comments.

Step 3. Match an Engager to a Constituent

To make a match, click the Match button at the far right of an engager’s row. A Match to Constituent popup will appear that shows suggested matches from your imported constituent records. You can also search for a different constituent manually.

If you are confident that the engager is a specific listed constituent, click the circle to the right of their name then click Next

A confirmation page will appear where you can click Confirm to finalize the match. To learn more about EverTrue’s manual Facebook matching process, check out our Facebook Matching article

💡 Note: If you aren’t sure about a match, feel free to do more research before confirming!
