Managing Dynamic List Alerts
Note: Our product team is working to consolidate EverTrue's filtering experiences by merging the best functionalities of both Filters beta and classic Filters. Starting mid-February 2024, we will begin to limit Filters beta, Dynamic List, and Bookmarked Search usage and feature functionality in preparation for this work.
Implementing Dynamic List alerts will ensure you receive informative email notifications outlining updates to your dynamic lists at the time and on the days that work best for you. Let's dive into how you can set up these alerts, and what your notifications will look like. Be sure to turn on your Filters Beta toggle to access this functionality!
Setting up Dynamic List Alerts
To set up email alerts for a dynamic list, head to your Dynamic Lists tab and open the list to which you would like to add alerts. Click your Actions button in the top-right corner and select Email Alerts.
An alerts popup will appear in which you can input the frequency at which you would like to receive your alerts, and the time and timezone you want the alerts to be sent your way. Click Save to apply your selections.
When building your email alert schedule, you can select the specific date on which you would like to start receiving updates about your dynamic list and can choose from the following alert frequencies:
- Never
- Daily
- Weekly
- Biweekly
- Monthly
Once you establish email alerts for one of your dynamic lists, you will find your selections listed beneath its name when viewing the list. If you need to edit any of your selections, click the Actions button and choose Email Alerts once more. Your previously selected preferences will appear, and you can edit them as needed.
Receiving Dynamic List Alerts
After setting up your dynamic list's alert schedule, you will receive the first email update on the date and at the time designated during the setup process. Your email will include a list of constituents that newly fit the dynamic list parameters and a link taking you directly to the list.
