A great method for communicating with your prospect assignments is through group texting. We make it easy for you to send out texts directly from the Volunteer by EverTrue iOS app. 

To start, select one of your volunteer pools (if you have multiple). Then, look for the message icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Then select names of your assignments and initiate a group text message. 

Once you select the recipients of the message, the feature uses your native iOS Messaging app to send the message. You are responsible for entering their text and sending the message. Note: The Volunteer application does not automatically log that the text was sent.

Things to Note:

• When recipients receive the message, it will come from the number associated with your cellphone.
• This feature is currently in Beta, which means that we are still making adjustments to it. It is also only available on iOS.
