Writing Proposals

If your organization has purchased the Relationship Management module, you now have the ability to write Proposals directly in EverTrue!

The format for writing proposals in EverTrue is set by your institution's EverTrue administrators alongside our Customer Operations team. All proposal custom fields are customized to your institution

Adding a Proposal from a Profile 

To start, click on the 'Actions' menu in the upper-right corner and select 'Add Proposal'.

Proposals may also be added from your portfolio if your organization is using our Relationship Management Portfolios tool. To add a proposal from your portfolio from within the Portfolios tab, navigate to the prospect for whom you'd like to add a proposal, and click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the constituent's card. From there, click 'Add Proposal' to open the proposal writing form.

Both methods of adding a proposal will open up the proposal form, which allows you to then add all relevant details.  

Editing a Proposal

To edit a proposal, navigate to the proposal you would like to adjust by either finding it in the proposals tab within the left-hand navigation panel or from within a constituent profile.

Open the proposal, click on the 'Actions' menu in the upper-right corner and choose 'Edit Proposal'. This will open the proposal form, which will allow you to edit the information that needs changing right from this screen.

All solicitors on the proposal have edit rights to the proposal.

  • Both imported and newly created Proposals can be edited in EverTrue
