Launchpad Widgets

Launchpad is your user dashboard, and it lets you see how you are progressing towards goals set by your supervisor. Each user has control over which widgets they see.

In this article, we've included detailed information on all of the widgets within Launchpad:

Users will see their own Launchpad and their team view, while Owners will see all individual user Launchpads and all team views.

To Customize your Launchpad view:

  1. Click the purple Actions menu while viewing your Launchpad
  2. Use the "Enable Drag to Reorder" button to rearrange the widgets. Don't forget to Save!
  3. Use the "Add/Remove Widgets" button to show or hide certain widgets.

For an extended description of each Widget (and how to set them up), check out the descriptions below!

Note: If you are an admin, you can set Launchpad goals for your users using the instructions here

Assignment by Stage

Solicitor View

This widget displays your assignments distributed by each stage. This view is specific to the team you are viewing, and is not an aggregated total. By clicking on the widget itself, you will see a larger view of the assignments in each stage. You can even click on the stage itself to be taken into Portfolios to view the specific assignments. To view your assignments for another portfolio team that you are in, use the drop-down in the top right corner of the widget to select the team name. As of now, this widget will show all teams for the org, but we are working on improving this to only show the teams that the user is part of.

Team View

This widget displays assignments distributed by stage. It aggregates assignments for the entire team, so all solicitor assignments will be included here.

Contact Pipeline

Your  Contact Pipeline widget tracks assigned prospect who you have and have not contacted, and their varying priority. Admins must set a "Contact Threshold" for each team under the Team Settings to calculate this widget. This threshold represents the number of days allowed to pass between contacts. This widget looks at the latest date of an interaction on which you are the solicitor. As of now, this widget will show all teams for the org, but we are working on improving this to only show the teams that the user is part of.

  • Not Contacted includes your prospects who have never been contacted.
  • Need to Contact includes prospects who have been contacted before, but are due for another contact based on the threshold set for your team.
  • Contact Soon includes prospects who have been contacted before but they are about to be due for outreach. You have about 30 days or less until they move to the Need to Contact category.
  • Contacted Recently includes prospects who have been contacted before and are not due for a contact.

When you click on the widget, it lists all of the people you need to reach out to, starting with those in the Not Contacted bucket down to the Contacted Recently bucket.

Interactions

Solicitor Widget

The Interactions widget shows you all Interactions logged for prospects assigned to you (where you are listed as the interaction solicitor) for the current fiscal year. By clicking on the widget itself, you will see a list of all the interactions logged. All interaction types except EverTrue Comments and Notes are included in your count, and EverTrue counts those logged in EverTrue as well as those logged in your CRM and imported to EverTrue. The goal number that you see pulls from the Total Interactions goal that is set for you by an administrator using the instructions listed here

Team Widget

The interactions widget on the team view shows you all interactions with a gift officer on this team listed as the solicitor on the interaction. These interactions have taken place during the current fiscal year, and include all interaction types except for EverTrue Comments and Notes. Interactions listed for prospects with assignments on this team will be included. This includes interactions logged in EverTrue and your CRM. The goal number pulls from the Total Interactions goal set for the team, not the aggregation of goals for each solicitor in the team.

Proposals

Solicitor View

The Proposals widget displays the  Total Ask Amount and Total Funded Amounts from proposals created this fiscal year where you are the solicitor. This widget only considers active proposals and looks for proposals with a Created Date within this fiscal year. You may click on the widget to see a list of all proposals included. Account admins can set the goals for Proposal Ask Amounts and Proposal Funded Amount on the goal-setting screen

Team View

This Proposal widget displays Total Ask Amount and Total Funded Amounts from proposals created this fiscal year by someone on your team. This widget only considers active proposals with a Created Date within this fiscal year on prospects who have assignments in this team. Goals for the team view should be set in the team goals section.

Proposal FY Settings

When uploading Proposal data into EverTrue, your EverTrue Admin has the ability to indicate which proposals should be counted in the current FY within the Proposals Widget in Launchpad, regardless of creation date. If proposals are not flagged via this field, Launchpad will use the current logic of only looking for created dates within this fiscal year. To set this up, first, your EverTrue admin needs to contact genius@evertrue.com or email your Implementation Specialist to enable this feature. Secondly, they will need to map the field within your Proposal file to indicate whether or not a Proposal is reported via the 'IsReported' header. This can be turned on and off at any time by your EverTrue admin.

Proposal Count

Solicitor Widget

The Proposal Count widget shows you the number of entered proposals for this fiscal year for whom you are the solicitor for and the progress towards your proposal goal. By clicking on the widget, you will see a list of the proposals for the fiscal year, as well as the ask amount and funded amount of each proposal included. The widget only counts active proposals, and you must be the solicitor on the proposal to get credit. Your administrator must enter a Total Proposals number on the Solicitor Goals page.

Team Widget

The Proposal Count widget shows you the number of proposals entered by solicitors on this fundraising team. This widget counts active proposals, and a solicitor on this team must be listed as the solicitor on the proposal to get credit. Prospects with proposals must have active assignments in this team to be included as well. This widget counts towards a goal for Total Proposals at the team level.

Total Giving

Solicitor Widget

The Total Giving widget shows each solicitor a summary of the giving totals for each prospect that is assigned to them. By clicking on the widget, you will the prospect names, their total giving amount, and their last gift date. The widget counts total giving from the current fiscal year, and will update at each new fiscal year.

Upcoming Trips

The Upcoming Trips widget lists all of your next trips and meetings scheduled in the Trips & Meetings tab. This widget displays the trip or meeting name, the type (trip, local meeting, virtual meeting, or phone meeting) and the date. This widget displays your upcoming trips based on what's in your Trips and Portfolios, so that you can see what visits are coming up and prepare adequately. The data within this widget includes the trip name, the trip type, and the trip dates. This is based on the solicitor's information you are viewing in Launchpad, so if you switch Gift Officers to view someone else's upcoming trips, they will be tailored to that individual. The trips will display by Fiscal Year.

Visits

This widget sums all interactions with visit credit during the current fiscal year for prospects assigned to you. The Total Visits side is a count of all visits this fiscal year, while the Unique Visits side is a count of all prospects visited this fiscal year. (I.e. If a prospect has one or more visit interactions this fiscal year, this is considered one unique visit). Clicking on the widget opens a window with two sections — a list of your prospects visited and the list of visit interactions. You can see your progress towards goals set for you by your administrator for your Total Visit Goal and Unique Visit Goal. To determine which interaction types get visit credit, please reach out to genius@evertrue.com.

Visit Pipeline

Your Visit Pipeline widget tracks assigned prospect who you have and have not visited, and their varying priority. Admins must set a "Visit Threshold" for each team under the Team Settings to calculate this widget. This threshold represents the number of days allowed to pass between visits. Visits are determined by the Visit interaction types configured by your admin. As of now, this widget will show all teams for the org, but we are working on improving this to only show the teams that the user is part of.

  • Not Visited includes your prospects who have never been visited
  • Need to Visit includes prospects who have been visited before, but are due for another visit based on the visit threshold set for your team.
  • Visit Soon includes prospects who have been visited before but they are about to be due for a visit. You have about 90 days or less until they move to the Need to Visit category.
  • Visited Recently includes prospects who have been visited before and are not due for a visit.

When you click on the widget, it lists out all of the prospect you need to visit with, starting with those in the "Not Visited" bucket all the way down to "Visited Recently."

Who To Contact

This widget displays your assignments who you should contact soon based on the amount of time that has elapsed since the last contact.  Using dates of interactions logged for these assignments, we are able to help prioritize your outreach. EverTrue comments and Notes are not included in contacts. As of now, this widget will show all teams for the org, but we are working on improving this to only show the teams that the user is part of.

Who to Visit

This widget displays your assignments who you should consider visiting based on the time that has elapsed since the last visit made to the individual. This widget looks for 'Visit type' interactions to determine whether someone is in need of a visit, and the widget will rank individuals based on those most in need of a visit. As of now, this widget will show all teams for the org, but we are working on improving this to only show the teams that the user is part of.
