Wealth Enrichment Exclusion

Use the following directions if you need to flag individuals who should be excluded from all wealth enrichment services in EverTrue. This will protect the personal privacy of specific constituents by preventing EverTrue from appending private wealth information to their records. 

Adding this Wealth Enrichment Exclusion flag prevents the record from being screened for wealth updates, and from having any screening results obtained through a direct EverTrue integration from being displayed via the EverTrue front end or shared as raw data with your data warehouse or internal system of record.

Import wealth enrichment opt-out flags:

If your institution does not want personal wealth details added to specific constituents (i.e. faculty and staff, trustees, etc) on an ongoing basis for privacy reasons then you will need to do the following:

1. Create a separate column in your constituent import file labeled ExcludeWealthEnrichment (please make sure column name does not contain spaces)

2. For records you would like to exclude from any wealth data appends, you need to indicate this by adding a “Y” (or "Yes", 1, or "True") to the new ExcludeWealthEnrichment column in your constituent file.

If you only want to run an exclusion file once, you can send us a separate file with the constituent ID + ExcludeWealthEnrichment.

When running your file, the field ExcludeWealthEnrichment will not appear in the mapping screen. We pick this field up behind the scenes based on the exact column name.

Please note: these indicators need to be sent to EverTrue by the last day of each month in order to be honored in the following month's enrichment run. During the pilot period, any flags added to EverTrue will take effect in the next monthly run (i.e. if you load Wealth Enrichment Exclude flags on Nov 5th they will not go into effect until the next enrichment refresh, which will occur the first week of December). The files run in October did not support opt-outs, so any data files pulled down from SFTP or exports done prior to Nov 6 will contain Windfall data for all contacts.
