Does EverTrue cache information about my donors on the machine I’m using?

No.

Can I import a list of constituents into EverTrue?

No - but you do have the ability to copy and paste constituent IDs or emails into an EverTrue list. To do this, you click on Create New List on the left side navigation, and paste the IDs or emails into the appropriate box. When you save, your list will populate. 

Can notes from my database be imported into EverTrue?

Yes! We offer the ability to do these imports. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or genius@evertrue.com to see if you are eligible for this feature. All customers are also able to use our commenting feature to make and store notes in EverTrue. 

Can EverTrue data be imported back into our database?

EverTrue recommends using EverTrue as a layer on top of your database. We encourage our users to do most of their prospecting and research in EverTrue to guarantee they are getting the most up-to-date insights on their constituents.

However, if you find a need to export EverTrue data, we have given users the ability to export lists or filtered searches. Once you have created & downloaded your export, simply import this back into your database as you wish.

Note, you cannot import LinkedIn data back into your database per LinkedIn’s terms of agreement.

How does EverTrue know who our LYBUNTS and SYBUNTS are?

EverTrue calculates LYBUNTS & SYBUNTS based on the fiscal year giving totals present in EverTrue.

Am I able to receive warning messages/notifications concerning engagement policies and/or solicitation codes via EverTrue?

Notifications for these kinds of alerts are currently not available. However, EverTrue recommends importing your solicitation codes to our system. Then, as long as your data is up-to-date, you will never be out of the loop!

What is the EverTrue Score?

EverTrue Score is a predictive donor score that helps frontline fundraisers more effectively prioritize constituent outreach. We use anonymized, cross-institutional data from hundreds of customers to determine how aspects of constituents’ profiles predict giving likelihood and expected gift value.

How is the EverTrue Score calculated?

The EverTrue Score is a dynamic calculation between1 (lowest) and 5 (highest). It is calculated from several scoring dimensions, in two broad categories:

  1. Donor Fit: Describes the extent to which a constituent looks like other proven donors, factoring key demographic and professional information — like top industry data from LinkedIn.
  2. Donor Activity: Describes whether a constituent has exhibited behaviors that are predictive of giving, factoring constituent giving history and social network activity — including Facebook engagement.

constituent’s EverTrue Score is dynamic and can change daily based on changes to the underlying data. For example, if a constituent changes jobs or likes a Facebook post, they may be re-scored. It is percentile ranked (a score of 4 means that the constituent ranks in the fourth quintile, or 61st - 80th percentile).

What do I do if I lose my phone?

If your phone is lost or stolen and you were logged into EverTrue, please contact your internal EverTrue admin and have them revoke your EverTrue access. Then contact your EverTrue Customer Success Manager for further assistance.

If you have enabled two-step verification for your EverTrue account, go to EverTrue on your computer, open the user menu in the top right corner by clicking your name, select Settings >> Security, and sign-out of your mobile session under Active Sessions.

How long do exports from EverTrue take?

Exports from EverTrue should be complete within just a few minutes depending on the size of the report.

Who do I contact for support if I run into any bugs or issues?
