Search Strategy: Increase Event Attendance

Tactic: Use the map to find engaged constituents, then create a list to use when promoting an annual event.

For example, if you have an annual reception in New York City and want to try to increase attendance, use the map to run a search of the five boroughs. Then add a search filter showing Facebook engagement within the last three months

Boom! You now have a list of alumni who have interacted with you recently and are more likely to respond to an event invitation. Use this list for email marketing or target them specifically in Facebook ads or a promoted post. You could even segment the list further and look for graduates of the last 10 years, then offer these young alumni a discount to attend the event.
